To offer a streaming solution for high-end AV systems, Cinemike has developed a modification for the Apple TV 4K. This is now in its 3rd generation, the 2022 version. Since there are significant structural differences in the 2022 version compared to the two previous versions, the modification was newly developed from the ground up, incorporating the latest insights in regulator optimization and interference suppression. We were able to further improve the performance compared to the previous year's model. The compact design and the multi-layer PCBs with large ground planes make the modification technically very demanding. Through these measures, we achieve improved picture and sound quality. In particular, the audio playback becomes significantly more audiophile with increased resolution and precision.
